June is the starting month of summer. Everyone gets excited and beautiful sunshine will be brightning the earth and clear sky will come.
Make me over, mother April,
When the sap begins to stir!
When thy flowery hand delivers
All the mountain-prisoned rivers,
And thy great heart beats and quivers
To revive the days that were.
The barberry bush, a shower of gold,
Through silver dews is glittering;
The buttercups the meadows hold,
A shining host; and twittering,
And fluttering,
Upon the yellow-blossomed bough,
A little bridegroom goldfinch now
Is uttering,
As best he can, what never quite
On earth
is uttered, Love's delight.

Come with thy rose-wreaths,
fair and laughing June!
Fling thy rich odors upon every gale;

And joy, and light, and melody prevail.
